Our guest... Madison Murray! From Professional NBA Dancer to full time trainer and fitness coach. Madison's approach to wellness includes both body AND mind
A little about Madison:
Madison’s passion for fitness started when she was a NBA Dancer for the Phoenix Suns and the Utah Jazz. She was lucky enough to be able to turn her passion into a career about 4 years ago. She has now started her own training and nutrition company and is a trainer and manager at a gym in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has expanded her knowledge by getting certified as a personal trainer, a functional strength coach and a sports and exercise nutrition coach.
Madison's Meal Plan
Madison doesn't have a set meal plan, but instead tries to keep things "lean, clean, and green." She focuses on high protein options. Her normal day looks something like this:
Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs, Turkey Bacon, and Sweet Potato
Lunch - Chicken with Brown Rice and Veggies
Snack - Protein Bar
Dinner - Turkey Meatballs with Turmeric Cauliflower
Apple Watch - "It's not 100% accurate but it's a good guideline"
Gym Boss Timer - This app is great for timing your intervals so you can focus on the workout, not the seconds that are left.
