How is the weather in Gainsland!?

I started my fitness journey as an obese teenager with no clue on how i got there or how to fix it. 

One day i decided i decided it was time for a change. I learned everything i possibly could and began putting ideas to work!

I successfully lost 90lbs and thats when i knew the next step was to help others. 

I begged for a job as a front desk person at the local gym and began studying to become a personal trainer. After countless hours of studying, job shadowing and working hands on with a wide variety of people, i had finally done it!

I became a trainer. 

(insert clapping sounds here)

I worked day in and day out. The shifts nobody would take. The 3:30 am start and the 10pm at night closing. I trained thousands of people one on one, in small groups and large teams.

After years and years of doing this daily, i came to the realization i no longer believed in what i was doing. 

Don't get me wrong, the people i worked with all achieved incredible results and were extremely happy but still something was missing. 


What was missing was the other 8 billion people on planet earth. 

I could no longer settle for training a few hundred people in a local gym. 

I wanted to change the world and i knew i would need to find a way to connect world wide if i was going to do that. 

My drive and hunger to help as many people as possible led me to develop this business. 

I wanted a tool that people could access anywhere on the planet. But i also wanted it to be human. 

Thats what led us to this moment. As you read this, thousands of people world wide are benefiting from what was once just an idea. People around the world are achieving results they never thought possible in a coaching experience that will literally redefine the industry. 

There is nothing i want more than to help people achieve their goals and dreams. 

And for now, i still got a couple billion or so to go.

‘Don’t be afraid, be aware.’


The Conversation

Ryan coaches women at all levels of the prep game, and we started with talking about Nationals and what that looks like.

  • Miami Nationals is “THE” National show. It’s the largest, and you have to be top 2 in open to qualify

  • Realize that Nationals is the best of the best, so your prep and mindset will need to be different a this level.

Focus on what you can do TODAY, not on your worries about tomorrow.

Mindset it THE more important thing. It’s everything.

Your brain is the START of all your actions, including your workout. It’s the engine of your vehicle. Take care of it.

Don’t be a prep robot :)

Post show is where Ryan sees a lot of struggling… depression, weight gain, etc… and it’s because the prep itself was unhealthy.

The fitness industry has become a money making machine. BE CAREFUL of where you invest. This is still YOUR body we’re talking about.

We have a great conversation around the damage a poorly managed fitness journey can do. Again, be careful, and do your research.

The “Wheel of Life” analogy was amazing! You have to tune in for this one.

The history of bro-science literally started with Arnold and his bodybuilding buddies… NOT a scientist or doctor. What worked for them is most certainly not what is right for you.

Don’t allow yourself to get to the point where you’re saying “I’m doing what I’m told” instead of questioning something on your plan.

Dont be afraid to ask your coach WHY.

Ryan’s best client story: He used to work with the elderly, and he had a client named Dave. Dave started out as someone who was afraid of the gym… but after a while he realized what he was capable of and met many goals, including deadlifting 300 pounds!!!

What is the best under $100 fitness or wellness purchase you've made? Books, all books. There is so much value in them. Right now I am reading The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone.
